This cabin was very peaceful, well stocked with necessities (appliances, utensils, towels, toilet paper, etc..) Very easy to find and getting in and out of the community even with narrow roads. Approx. 6 miles to heart of Blue Ridge. The internet and Wi-Fi worked well. The hot tub could use some TLC on cleaning up a decent amount of floaters but wasn't too bad to scare me off. The cabin does offer a dock at the pond but be prepared to work getting to and from the pond. The trail to the pond is a workout best suited for the youth. I was able to fish from the dock and caught a few. The dock area could use a little trimming of limbs and bank vegetation to make casting out and reeling more clear. Overall we had a nice quiet and comfortable stay. A good cabin with its perks and flaws.

We have had a great weekend get-away at the Mountain Lake Hideway. The cabin had everything we were hoping for, including a private dock to the small lake, a fire pit, hot tub and all necessary kitchen equipment so we could prepare all the home cooked meals we liked. The neighborhood is peaceful and people are friendly too. I want to especially highlight our host Buffy who went above and beyond for us and even hooked us up with a new grill when we reported some issues with the current one. She was really proactive, friendly and quick - not only in finding a solution but also in her responses to us. Thank you Buffy!

We have truly enjoyed our stay in this cozy cabin for our 15th anniversary. We went to Blue Ridge Dam and shopped and shopped. Went to Mercier's Orchards, took the Blue Ridge Railway for the 4 hour trip, ate at Southern Charm (great food) and Toccoa Riverside Restaurant (great food) and Trackside BBQ (great food). My fianc and I absolutely loved this cozy little mountain cabin! It was in the PERFECT location and we got to hike a number of trails nearby. After our trail hiking, we came home to relax in the hot tub overlooking the lake. It couldnt have been more perfect. The cabin was super clean and had everything accessible. The check in process was quick and effortless. And we had our instructions in advance so we could prepare prior to our arrival. The roadway was paved and was easy to navigate. We would definitely stay again and would recommend this perfect little cabin to anyone who would love their ideal mountain getaway!

Great location in the mountains just 10-15 minutes from Blue Ridge. The road up is tight if another car is coming the opposite direction but manageable if you drive carefully. Loved the little lake. Pretty clean and deep right off the dock so no standing in mud. Water is a refreshing temp, even in late July. The cabin is small but perfect for 2-4 people. My two dogs and a friend had a great time!
