How do I book a cabin?

Browse our available cabins, choose your dates, and complete your reservation online. You can also call us at +1 (800) 844-4939 and we'll walk you through it. A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.

What is the check-in and check-out process?

We offer self check-in. One day before arrival, you'll receive a Personal Guide link via text with your entry code, cabin address, and everything you need. Check-in is at 3 PM and check-out is at 10 AM.

When is the balance of my reservation due?

The remaining balance is due 30 days before your arrival date. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. If your arrival is within 30 days of booking, the full amount is due at the time of reservation.

Question 4

What should I bring to the cabin?

We provide a starter supply of toilet paper, soap, trash bags, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, dish liquid, a sponge, and paper towels. For stays longer than 2 nights, we recommend bringing extra supplies along with your personal toiletries and groceries.

Are pets allowed?

The majority of our cabins are pet friendly with a 2 pet maximum. The pet fee is $50 per pet plus tax. Please do not bring pets to cabins that do not allow them, as most often those cabin owners have allergies.

Can I bring my ATVs?

ATVs are permitted at some cabins, but you are asked to respect the roads and residents in the surrounding neighborhoods. ATV riding is subject to Georgia and Fannin County laws. Check with local law enforcement for details.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation Policy
Reservations canceled 31 or more days prior to the scheduled arrival date will receive a refund of all monies paid, less a $100 cancellation fee, the non-refundable 3% booking fee, and any credit card processing fees.
Reservations canceled 30 days or less prior to the scheduled arrival date are non-refundable. However, guests may reschedule their reservation one time in lieu of cancellation, provided the new reservation dates are selected and confirmed at the time of cancellation. The $100 cancellation fee, 3% booking fee, and any credit card processing fees will still apply to all rescheduled reservations. The rescheduled stay must occur within one (1) year of the original arrival date and is subject to availability and current rates. Any difference in rental rates, fees, taxes, or other charges will be the responsibility of the guest.
All cancellation and reschedule requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@1mymountain.com. The effective date of cancellation or reschedule shall be the date the email is received.

Will the hot tub be hot when we arrive?

We drain, sanitize, refill, and add chemicals to the hot tub after each guest's departure. If a guest checks out immediately before your arrival, the water may be below 100 degrees but will heat up within a few hours. Keep the cover on when not in use.

Is there cell phone service in the mountains?

Cell phone service can be somewhat sporadic in the North Georgia mountains. Verizon and AT&T provide the best service at most of our cabins.

Where are most of your cabins located?

Most of our cabins are located in the 'My Mountain' community in Morganton, about 10 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge, Georgia. The remainder are spread across surrounding areas. Call us at +1 (800) 844-4939 if you have a preference.

Is firewood provided?

Firewood is not provided for fireplaces or fire pits. Local gas stations, roadside vendors, and grocery stores sell small bundles year round. We suggest purchasing firestarters or small Duraflame-type logs. Do not use accelerants of any kind.

Is charcoal or propane provided for grills?

Accepted Answer

Charcoal is not provided for cabins with charcoal grills. Propane is provided for gas grills. Each cabin has a grill, and the type is listed in the cabin's description.

Can GPS find my cabin?

Accepted Answer

GPS will typically not take you directly to cabins located on My Mountain. We recommend using GPS to get close, then following our provided directions for the rest of the way.

What if I leave something behind?

Call our office immediately. If our cleaning staff finds it before the next guest arrives, we'll hold it for 7 days. We can package and return items for a $20 handling fee plus postage charged to your card on file.

Do any cabins allow smoking inside?

Accepted Answer

All cabins are non-smoking and this policy is strictly enforced. Smoking is allowed outside on porches and decks. Please do not dispose of cigarette butts in the yard. Additional cleaning charges will apply if butts are found on the grounds.

Do all cabins have satellite or cable TV?

Cabins on My Mountain do not have cable. Some have satellite TV (Dish or Direct) or are streaming only. Check the individual listing for specifics or call us at +1 (800) 844-4939.

What if we have a problem at the cabin?

You'll receive a 24/7 text number for immediate contact with My Mountain Cabin Rentals. For police, fire, or emergency medical services, dial 911. An address card with the cabin's 911 address and emergency numbers is inside each cabin.

Are there age restrictions on renting a cabin?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you must be at least 25 years old to rent. The person making the reservation must be one of the guests who remain with the rental party throughout the stay. We do not rent for high school or college parties.

What about bugs and wildlife?

Our cabins receive monthly pest control services, but you are likely to see some bugs as part of being in the mountains. You will also likely see deer, opossums, raccoons, turkey, squirrels, and rabbits.
