The property was just as beautiful as described and pictured! Our family of two teens, two adults, two grandparents, and our Australian Shepherd had plenty of space and amenities to please everyone. We stayed during Christmas, and the cabin was perfectly decorated with a lovely tree, lights, and greenery. We enjoyed the gorgeous yard, screened porch, fireplace, hot tub, game table, fire pit, and incredible water view. We made most meals together in the well-equipped kitchen. We highly recommend this property!

We had a good time here. The host was very friendly and helpful. Very chill and cozy vibe. Being on the river is so peaceful. Plenty of space in the backyard to throw the ball around with the dogs. Everything was clean and neat when we arrived. Hot tub was clean. Pretty much anything you could need in the kitchen for cooking was there. The property was relatively private. Woods on one side; house on the other, but not too close. There was another house across the river and far enough away. Both houses were empty for the weekend. We felt tucked away enough from the big city, but close enough to civilization.

We had a wonderful weekend at Bigfoot's River Retreat. We saw so many animals! We even saw trout flipping out of the water and a little otter sunning on a rock! We will definitely be back here in the summer time when we can enjoy the river more.
