Amicalola Falls
The word Amicalola comes from Cherokee meaning "falling waters." These 729-foot falls are the tallest east of the Mississippi. An eight-mile approach trail leads to Springer Mountain, the Appalachian Trail's southern terminus.
Vogel State Park

Brasstown Bald
Georgia's highest mountain with a Visitor Information Center and panoramic views of four states on a clear day. Exhibits, video presentations, hiking trails, and picnic areas at the summit parking lot.
Unicoi State Park
